Critical Issues – Kindergarten Readiness
In 2010, SB 1381 was enacted into law. That measure phases in a change in the admissions age for kindergarten, beginning in 2012-13. The bill also calls for a new program—the transitional kindergarten program. In this section we will highlight new resources and information.
